This entry-level role supports day-to-day laboratory operations in a regulated manufacturing environment. You’ll assist with routine testing, sample handling, equipment operation, and documentation under established procedures. It’s a solid junior lab job for someone who wants real bench time and stable work rather than busywork.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine laboratory tests under supervision;
- Prepare samples, reagents, and materials;
- Operate and maintain laboratory equipment according to SOPs;
- Document all work accurately in electronic and paper records;
- Assist with receiving, storing, and tracking raw materials;
- Follow safety, quality, and cleanliness requirements;
- Support senior staff in production and quality-control workflows.
Required Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in Chemistry, Biology, or related field;
- Or equivalent technical training with at least 1 year of lab experience;
- Familiarity with basic laboratory practices and measurement techniques;
- Ability to follow written procedures with consistency;
- Strong attention to detail and reliable work habits;
- Basic computer proficiency (LIMS experience is a bonus).
Preferred Qualifications
(aren’t mandatory but they help):
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant scientific discipline;
- Experience in a GMP, ISO, or similarly regulated setting;
- Exposure to analytical instruments (HPLC, GC, spectroscopy, etc.).
Compensation & Schedule
- Pay range: $24-28 per hour, depending on experience;
- Employment type: Full-time, hourly;
- Schedule: On-site, standard weekday shifts with occasional flexibility during production cycles.
