This entry-level administrative role supports day-to-day front-office operations in a busy, service-oriented environment. You’ll handle visitor reception, phone and email communication, scheduling, basic recordkeeping, and general office coordination. It’s a steady, straightforward position for someone who likes organized workflows and consistent responsibilities.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and direct visitors in a professional manner;
  • Manage incoming calls, emails, and inquiries;
  • Schedule appointments and maintain office calendars;
  • Prepare, organize, and file documents as needed;
  • Assist with incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries;
  • Maintain reception area cleanliness and supply levels;
  • Provide administrative support to staff and management.

Required Qualifications

  • This is the baseline for the role:
  • High school diploma or equivalent;
  • At least 1 year of customer service or administrative experience;
  • Clear, professional communication skills (written and verbal);
  • Competence with basic office software (email, spreadsheets, scheduling);
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail;
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks in a calm, consistent way.

Preferred Qualifications

Helpful, but not required:

  • Associate’s degree in Business Administration or related field;
  • Experience with office phone systems or visitor-management software;
  • Familiarity with document management and basic office hardware.

Compensation & Schedule

  • Pay range: $17–$21 per hour, depending on experience;
  • Employment type: Full-time, hourly;
  • Schedule: On-site, standard weekday hours with occasional flexibility during peak periods.
